It's official: Choukran is opening its second Parisian address at 30 rue de Richelieu, in the 2nd arrondissement, steps from the Palais Royal. A new chapter for the house, and a new Casbah that promises to bring life to the neighbourhood.

An exceptional location

The 2nd arrondissement, between Palais Royal and the Grands Boulevards, is a neighbourhood steeped in history and life. It is here, on this lively street where hurried Parisians, food lovers and the curious cross paths, that Choukran has chosen to set up for the second time.

The location is strategic: in the heart of Paris, accessible, vibrant. A place of passage that will become a destination.

A décor between two worlds

For this new restaurant, Choukran wanted to create a space that tells the story of two shores. The décor blends Moroccan tradition and Parisian modernity: artisans from Marrakech worked for three months to create the bespoke zellige, woodwork and lighting.

The result is a warm, elegant space where every detail has been considered. Noble materials — handmade zellige, carved wood, patinated brass — sit alongside contemporary lines and clean furniture. Far from folklore: simply beautiful.

A space designed for sharing

With 60 seats and an open kitchen, this new Choukran is designed for sharing and conviviality. From the dining room, you can see the cooks at work, the semolina rising in the steam, the tajines simmering gently.

The open kitchen is a philosophy at Choukran: hide nothing, show everything. Because Moroccan cooking is a spectacle in itself — a ballet of gestures, colours and aromas.

The same generous menu

On the menu side, no surprises: you'll find the same generous menu that made the first address a success. Airy couscous, fragrant tajines, melt-in-the-mouth méchoui, homemade pastries and mint tea prepared according to tradition.

Choukran doesn't change what works. You don't touch a family recipe. You simply bring it to a new table, in a new neighbourhood, for new guests.
